Hi everyone, we are having random freezing

of logictech wireless keyboards/mice. And Bloomberg Keyboards/Wireless mice on 5070 with thin os.

    5070 have mix of 1.1.4, 1.2.4 and 1.3.1 fw.

To get back up and running we reboot the 5070 and login back in and virtual desktop is still running. We run xendesktop LTSR 7.15 cu 4.

    any help is appreciated thanks!!

We experienced the same issues with ThinOS version 8.6_206, so we just reverted to 8.6_028.

Thanks for the reply. We also went to 8.6_206 across all thin clients at the recommendation by dell support. We’re you running any specific firmware? Or Citrix rtme version?

Our lock ups happen randomly, sometimes at login and launch of Bloomberg others at idle.

Ok so more info, issue still happening but we were able have time on a frozen 5070.

issue is, keyboard, mouse and dual screens freeze. We have had this freezing occur for user’s with wired and wireless devices.

we had a user freeze during regular use of desktop, wireless mouse/keyboard stuck and screen frozen. We could access the 5070 thru wms, and the users win10 1903 virtual desktop was up and running fine. Could ping, windows event Viewer was writing new events after the 5070 froze.

we were able to connect a wired mouse and keyboard to the 5070 and amazingly we could get to 5070 side bar and access the system info, troubleshooting sections. The wireless devices and screen remained frozen until we had no choice but to reboot the 5070 and get the user back in.

To us it’s appears that the Citrix client on the 5070 is having the issue and locking up we actually had time to call dell support who was on phone with us and said this sounds like a bug.

we have 5070 with 1.1.4, 1.2.4 and 1.3.1 with 8.6_206 and 8.6_028 and all have this issue.

windows 10 1903 and Citrix LTSR cu 4 with vda 1912.

    anyone have any ideas???

    help is greatly appreciated
