    I’m using full WYSE MGMT System on premise.
    I removed all FTP-related DHCP tags (161 – 162 – 184 – 185)
    I checked the option “NO Global INI” in the Advanced Configuration Settings in Wyse System.
    But still when I boot my DELL 3030/3040 Thin Client, the devices asks for username/password to access the FTP-server.
    But still I see in the EVENT LOG on the Thin Client the following entries:
    * Contacting File Server
    * Contacting reserved file server wyseftpfbc4tc
    * Cannot access system profile

    Please advise what to do?
    I really want to get rid of the FTP.

    Is the fileserver still listed locally on the client?

    It probably is, but I can’t check anymore because “Central Config” is completely gryed out.

    Then either activate Admin Mode or set the Privilege level to high temporary.

    Ok, but does this mean that I need to remove these FTP-settings on all devices manually?
    We are talking about 150 devices in differtent locations.

    One step after the other.
    First check if the Filserver is still listed.

    You can try to add the „Central Configuration“ category in WMS policy and leave it all empty.
