    Hello all,
I have a compaq evo t20 thin client. And currently theres a WTOS 4.0.76 OS on this thin client. Theres a licence sticker inside the case with a windows CE license. And I found out about a few linux distributions that run on the evo. Yet I cant find a way to flash my evo back to windows ce or linux. Does anybody have any clue if this is possible and how I would go about doing this?

Your help is really much appreciated.

You would need a tool called NetXfer which is available in our download section. Not sure if a conversion will work.

I know about the NetXfer procedure. But because of the WTOS on there it does not react to the “P” button. When i hold the power button it simply powers off right away too, instead of rebooting. Seems like the whole bios/mbr is reflashed together with it..

Sorry but I am not good with the Compaq units. Mainly the converted ones.

Hmm this should be OS related and not hardware related. Even tough I might have found a solution.
It seems that Wyse Device Manager offers the possibility to select an OS to deploy on the thin client.
