From ThinOS Lite to ThinOS on Wyse 5010

Hello

i’m taking back management of the Wyse infrastructure in the company I work for so my question might be dumb ….

I have a bunch of Wyse 3040 and and a bunch of 5010

On 3040 I’m running ThinOS (8.6_412) and on the 5010 ThinOS Lite  (2.6_412) both managed with Wyse Management Suite 3.0

To be standard in the company, I’d like to go from ThinOSLite on the 5010, to ThinOS (Full)

It’s strange, because if If I search on Dell support with the SN of the 5010, I Check the model type and I see that I can install ThinOS on these (Wyse 5010 Thin Clients / D10D/D10DP/D90D7)

But in our config, it really looks like Xenith, because the current OS is the ZD00_xen

So I was wondering if I could use a Merlin image and make a USB Key to install a full ThinOS on these devices (5010).

Before I wanted to Backup of find an existing image of the Current ThinOSLite, but I can’t find it anywhere ( in case the reinstall fails)

So the questions are

– Can I install a ThinOS on these devices ? or am I stuck with ThinOS Lite

– If I can Install, is there a way to backup my existing image in case of failure ?

– is there a Way to push the new image ThinOS on existing ThinOS Lite using WMS ? or is it only with USB key ?
