Hello all, I am brand new to WMS and Wyse Thin Clients in general and was hoping for some help.  Going through the install everything seems fine, no errors or failures of any kind that I can tell.  When the install is complete the launch button just takes me to https://<server name>/ccm-web/setup but the site cannot be reached.  This is on a fresh Server 2012 install and I have the same issue whether I try WMS 1.0 or 1.1 installers.  Any insight is much appreciated!

Have you changed the name or IP of the server after the install?
Have you waited some time after trying? MongoDB and Tomcat services are set to start automatically with delay.
Make sure these services are running.

Hi ConfGen, thank you for your reply.  I have been doing testing lately with the cloud hosted version and I like the software alot.  Unfortunately as I have circled back around to the on-prem install now that my pro trial is over I am running into this same problem again.  I verified that both MongoDB and Tomcat are running when I try to reach the console, the server has not had any name changes since install either.  Since my original post I have completely re-installed the software on my 2012 Server and I have also tried to do an install on a Win10 box, both fresh installs.  I am having the same issue on both machines, install goes fine, hit launch, then the page cannot be reached.

I guess my question at this point is what am I missing?  I have the installer for WMS1.1 from the Dell/Wyse website and am using that to install.  Is there another piece I am missing?  Maybe I have the wrong installer?  I was under the assumption that since it is a free license all I would have to do is download and install but I cant help but think I’m missing a step somewhere since I have the same issue with every install attempt I’ve made.

Thanks again for any insight you may provide!

Have you changed the IP or name of the server after install?
    Have you tried different browsers?
What exact error message do you get?

    This site can’t be reached
The webpage at https://mywms.test.local/ccm-web might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

    ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED

    IE error

    This page can’t be displayed
Make sure the web address https://mywms.test.local is correct.
Look for the page with your search engine.
Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Brand new install clean server WMS 1.2 and update HF1 but even after WMS 1.2 still didn’t work tried update and still the same all services started and running.

    Any help much appreciated

I guess you have another webserver running on this server. Or at least a service occupying port 443.

are you using SCCM? if so, SMS Host Agent use also Port 8005 which cause that Tomcat can’t start. change the Tomcat Port in Server.xml and start Dell Tomcat Service.
