    Hello,

I was curious I have a Dx0D unit running ThinOS and has a 2GB Flash drive.

The ThinOS does not work for us using Parallels (previously 2X) was going to install a light version of Debian on it, however when trying to format the drive it gives an error.

I know that some of these units had a Flash Write protect on them, is that the case here? and if so how do I disable that feature?

There is no lock on the flash.
Using any Linux based partition manager should get rid of the ThinOS partition and help creating new ones.
