I have been given an old S30 along with the firmware for it. The S30 has had linux installed, and I want to put it back to factory. However when I try flashing it from USB, it starts OK but fails with a message telling me it cannot find the file that tells it the size of the image. I’m guessing it’s looking for something on the S30 that isn’t there anymore.
Does anyone know how to get around this?
S30 had always Windows CE installed. If it has Linux installed, this was either manually installed or it was a S50.
What image have you tried to flash on the client? Which USB tool?

It’s definately a Winterm S30.
I was given it, along with a self extracting executable 674Wye08_S46.exe.
I used the Wyse Imaging Tool and a USB stick. All seems to go OK until I get the error I mentioned above.
