Im stuck and cant figure out how to factory reset a couple Dell Wyse 3040 ThinOS machines. They are in non privileged mode so I cant get to any menus and the reset option is not available on reboot. The G key reset is also disabled. These machine originally were connected to our WMS server and working fine but we reconfigured some stuff on the server and now the server doesnt show them listed at all (honestly dont know what was changed on the server but i think the group they were registered to got deleted). We have about 200 clients connected to the server and they are all working fine except for these 4 units.

    The even logs show:

    – WMS agent error: invalid group token

-WMS agent failed to login. (Invalid WMS server or Group Registration Key)

    -Loaded cached WMS configuration

    – WMS agent process is closed!

Is there a way I can simply factory reset these devices so I can rejoin them to my WMS server?

You can the Dell USB Imaging Tool and a so called Merlin image.
Both can be downloaded from the Dell support site.
With this you can flash the device with a factory image via USB key.
