I’m using Firefox on PCX to connect to our VDI-in-a-Box Server. Everything works fine there but we have these ASUS SDRW-08D2S-U USB DVD Drives that I would like to connect to the Virtual Desktops on startup. As it is now it works as long as you disconnect and then reconnect them after the Virtual desktop has started. I’m stumped on how to get them to connect automatically with out the reconnect.

December 27, 2013 at 11:31 am #24488You should try with one or a combination of the below parameters:
ICADynamicMapping=yes
IcaDesktopApplianceMode=yes
ICADrives=U=cdrom,rw

February 3, 2014 at 7:56 pm #24579In case anyone was wondering I resolved the issue by purchasing the wyse TCX suite that seemed to fix the problem. One caveat if your planning to go the same route I don’t recommend installing the flash redirection portion of the TCX suite as it caused all sorts of issues for me.
