    Hi CG,

    Below is step by step commands which I used to extend the partition.

    Extend command works fine but only extend the volume not file system… shown in picture below.

    Microsoft DiskPart version 5.1.3565.1

    DISKPART> select disk 0
    Disk 0 is now the selected disk.

    DISKPART> select partition 2
    Partition 2 is now the selected partition.

    DISKPART> extend size = 966
    DiskPart failed to extend the volume.
    Please make sure the volume is valid for extending.

    (Comment : extend size = 966, or extend size = 974 does not work, only extend command works.)

    DISKPART> extend
    DiskPart Successfully extended the volume but failed to extend the file system.
    To retry this operation use the DiskPart Command EXTEND FILESYSTEM.

    DISKPART> extend FILESYSTEM
    DiskPart failed to extend the file system on the volume.

    DISKPART> create partition primary
    DiskPart was unable to create the specified partition.

    Any idea what I am doing wrong.
