Could anyone explain to me what “Alignment Based Screen” and “Alignment” mean with an example?  Changing these settings seems to have no effect.

I just want 2 monitors in a horizontal layout – one on the left and one on the right.  I can’t find any documentation on this in either the WMS Admin guide or the ThinOS Admin guide.

    Thanks

    Alex

    AFAIK, this should mean:
ScreenID is aligned (Alignment) to another monitor (Alignment Based Screen).

    In your case,
    Screen ID = Monitor 1
Alignment Based Screen – Monitor 2
    Alignment – left-top

Hi alex01, I’m getting mad here. Having the same issue and this is driving me crazy.

We have WMS 3.3 HF1 (Standard, not Pro), Wyse 3040 with Wyse ThinOS (9.1.3112), BIOS 1.2.5

I have two monitors connected via Display Port. All I want, is to be able to decide, if the main screen is 1 or 2 (left or right), and how the monitors are aligned.

But regardless of what I configure. Nothing happens. Nothing at all.
Even if I set the monitors to portrait or flipped, nothing happens.

Any idea of that I’m doing wrong?
