Some of our users are getting the following message: “Connection reset by peer” and then the session becomes unresponsive, or appears so. Users are backing off to the Wyse connect screen and logging back in to regain access but the behavior returns shortly after the session goes idle. We use Wyse thin clients exclusively, although various models, to access a XenApp 6.5 published desktop. Does anyone have experience with the message or the behavior? Any suggested next steps?

    We had same problem.
I our case we are using SonicWall firewall as DHCP server.
Problem was solved with other (not latest!) firewall firmware version…
    AND
be sure to set “conflict detection attempts” value to 1 (default is 0)
That last one you should do also if you use domain controller as DHCP server (or Windows server)

This same message happened to us when we migrated DHCP role from existing server to a new server. We forgot to shorten the lease times a few days in advance, and we think this may have caused some address conflicts on the network. Some Wyse ThinOS devices exhibited this message as well as a disconnect symptom. In all cases, the users were able to get reconnected with their XenApp 6.5 sessions.

    Dear all,

    was this issue fixed?

We have the same issue with Wyse Thinclient 5010, Systemversion 2.6_412 (last available on Dell/Wyse website), Bios 3.0U, ThinOS Lite, Receiverversion  14..0.20061800.

During fast changes of images or videos, accessing Linux Desktops or sometimes Windows Remote Desktops the Client looses its connection to Citrix bith Session to Desktop reset by peer.

    Citrix Version ist Xenapp 7 1912 CU3.
