Good morning together.
I have a test client and want to test the configuration.
Now i have three questions.
First, can i hide the taskbar? I saw the param HideTaskbar, but nothing happens. I want, if you turn the client on, the user can`t the the taksbar on the bottom of the desktop.
Seccond one. I changed the Privilege to None. But is it posible that a user can`t open the menue if he click with the left mouse button on the desktop?
And at the moment i have the problem, if i pluged the lan cable off the user can change all the config from the client. I tryed the LocalCopy param but nothing happes. Can i do domething again this? If the client can`t get a wnos.ini it lock the client?
Hi Aerics,
the parameter SuppressTaskbar is working great but you need at least 6.4.0_21, 6.3.0_44 or 6.5.0_12 firmware to get it running.
Clicking on the desktop will always open the menu regardless of the privilege level.
And last one, use the parameter “Privilege=none Lockdown=yes” to save this state on the unit even if no wnos.ini could be read.
