Tagged: color depth
I have upgraded couple of 3010 devices to the latest 8.6_027 firmware and have noticed that the Color Depth settings are now greyed out. In the Settings Display it is now fixed at 32-bit and there is no way to change it.
In our config file we have it set to 16-bit:
DesktopColorDepth=16 RGB565=yes
but that makes no diferrence. This setting works fine on boxes with older firmware. Any ideas if this is a bug or something somewhere needs to be set?
Never mind – found my answer in the admin guide:
Desktop Color—Only 32-bit is permitted. This value is selected by default. From ThinOS version 8.6 release, only 32-bit desktop color is supported on Wyse 3010 (T10) and 3020 (T10D) thin clients.
