    Hello Everyone,

    I have a small issue.

We got a new thinclient ( which runs on 9.1.2101) and we were happy with it.
However when we want to join a teams meeting(in a citrix environment)  it didnt allow us to join the meeting.
Stated : it looks like your network configuration is preventing us from making your call

When i disable Teams Optimization and open teams in the citrix session it works normal (but then then the camera is not working).

Is this a know bug or did i do something wrong? because a 1 on 1 call is doable but takes a while to start it up.

    Greats,
    Daphne

I guess you have verified that the Citrix package is installed on the client?
    Are you using a 3040 or 5070?
3040 is not supported with Teams as the processor is too weak.

    Heey ConfGen,

Yeah i have it installed. even looked if it was the latest version.
We are running on a 5070 (latest firmware)

Teams optimization works good with the 5070 in general.
Make sure you are not using any USB redirection for audio and video devices as this would prevent Teams optimization to work.

I guess you are referring to the Teams Optimization enablement in WMS, aren’t you? If not, make sure to enable it there.

i have looked at this and turned off all the usb redirection i had in the config.

and as a reply on the other question Yeah i have Teams Optimization enabled in the WMS.

We are going to look if it has to do with our firewall (Maby the teams optimization makes teams use the ip of the thinclient instead of the server).

    Kind regards,

    Heey,

Well we looked into this more and we found out that if you use the optimization you will use the resources of the thinclient ( and the lan connection).
With this in mind we looked at our firewall and found this problem to be on our side.

    Thanx all the help

    kind regards,
    Daphne
