Hi guys,
I have multiple T10D running firmware 8.0_411 and using ConfGen for the WNOS file. I’m trying to get USB webcams working but so far no luck.
Under the thin client System Tools, USB Bus>EHCI Root Hub>Hub I see USB VIDEO [Class_0E Subclass_01 Protocol_0x00]. Is that the webcam?
Here’s my config. Can you please have a look and let me know if you see anything missing?
Greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks

I can see that the webcam is connected to the thin client and I am able to view the settings in the Peripherals menu. However, when I select “Preview”, I do not see an image in the webcam window. Are only certain webcams compatible with the T10D? I’m using a Logitech HD C525.
Thanks,
EricApril 2, 2015 at 5:22 pm #25432I was able to narrow down some issues. I have set up a test server 2012R2 and installed the Logitech webcam drivers and TCX suite. When I connect the thin client to the test server, TCX suite picks up the webcam and all is well.
In my real world environment, the terminal server is 2008R2. Apparently this OS does not support the Logitech webcam drivers. I was able to find a way to get the drivers on the server and according to the interwebs, I have to go into device manager and associate the Unknown USB Device with the Logitech webcam driver. However, when I connect via thin client, go to device manager and try to update the driver, the server crashes. I’ve tried to associate the driver from the server but since the webcam is not connected to the server, there’s nothing to associate it with.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks,
Eric -
