    Hi,

    Using 5070 or D10D / RDP to Windows 10 / Windows server 2019

    Whichever parameters I change locally on the Thinclient, there’s no difference on the Remote session. (“optimize for CPU” or not, lowering the resolution frame rate etc.)

    My goal is to lower the resolution and frame rate, of course. To lower CPU et network bandwidth.

    Whatever the local setting, the camera redirection takes 30Mb/s and quite a large amount of CPU.

    Maybe I’m on the wrong path by redirecting USB webcam using low level redirection (RemoteFX). I assume it is, because this redirection thing is somehow confusing ; same term for different ways and different protocol for “redirecting” things)

    So, are there different ways of redirecting a webcam through RDP ?
