Hello!
Our environment:
Wyse 3040 (ThinOS 9.1.5067) and Wyse 5070 (ThinOS 9.1.2101)
Citrix 1912 LTSR CU3
Zebra GX430t printer connected through USB Cable
Problem: Can´t get LPT port to Citrix with ThinOS9.
I can see the print in control panel as USB, a Test print works perfect. For a specific companies software I need to have it listed as LPT1 when doing net use.
Any thoughts or suggestions? With ThinOS 8.6 and same config through ini files it works perfect.
Has this ever worked for you in ThinOS 9 or is this the first time you’re trying? Since you’re using USB redirection for the printer can you install the printer drivers and software on your Windows session and does it detect the printer through USB?
Hi,
thanks for your answer. No it has never worked with ThinOS9, with no version.
USB redirect works but that´s no that, what we need here in our environment. Seems as if they didn´t implement it in Version9. What do you do in such a situation? Is there some kind of technical support for such things?
Thanks!
Typically you would open a support case with Dell
