Hi we have an old WDM server and have setup a new WMS server
When registering new Wyse units it automatically finds the WDM server and registers to it
We don’t have any DHCP or DNS entries so I don’t understand how it’s being automatically found
Ive put the DHCP option tags into DHCP but it still can’t find the WMS server automatically and register
The only way is to disconnect the WDM server and manually input the details of the WMS server
What devices are you using?
WDM had a DHCP proxy service which issued the option tags. This was only working if server and client were in the same subnet.
