    I am trying to push the Audio to go out through the Display port on the Dell Wyse 3040 or 5010. (this is to connect to a HDMI switch and then to a TV. I want it to have Audio and visual coming through so that I do not have to use separate cabling)

    Our system is running ThinOS and we use Citrix 7.5 with Xenapp sessions.

    I do not seem to have any luck doing so. Is there anything in the .ini File that I can add to push audio through the Displayport? or does anyone have any suggestions?

    Regards

    Josh

    The simple and easy solution is, that this will not work. Audio via DP is not supported with ThinOS.

    People say it’s supported since 8.5, but you need active DP to HDMI adapter, because passive DP doesn’t send audio (there is no chip inside to convert audio). Passive DP didn’t work for me, I’m going to order active and update if that worked. I’m using RDP session

    I use audio through DP on a 3040 with Thinos(latest version).

    My Ini-setting for this device is :

    device=audio playback=”LPEDP Audio” record=”HD Pro Webcam C920″ dpaudio=yes

    Active DP adapter works.  DP > HDMI + wyse 3040 + RDP = sound works.

    DPAudio works on the 5060 and the 5070, the 5010 doesn’t have the hardware capability
