    Hi, after upgrading firmware from 8.0.105 to 8.1.027, my thinOS desktop  application-shortcuts are gone. I can however access them from the applications icon in the down right corner. But end-users won’t accept this I guess..

    wyse clients: DX0D

    Citrix environment: XenApp 7.13

    “Add shortcut to user’s dekstop” is ticked for most applications. (Citrix Studio)

    However, they are not on the Thin Client desktop anymore after firmware upgrade.

    Any ideas?

    by the way, both 8.0 and 8.1 firmware gets shortcuts from the old Xenapp 6.5 environment, but only 8.0 gets shortcuts from 7.13

    Try adding this to your wnos.ini

    SessionConfig=ICA OnDesktop=yes

    Thanks

    However, I also get apps with the “Add shortcut to users’ desktop” which are unticked in application settings in Citrix Studio.

    I guess OnDesktop=yes overrides this.

    Yes, ondesktop shows either all published apps, all published desktops or both regardless of the Citrix settings.
