Hi guys I found your awesome forum recently.
We recently received a batch of 18.5 Samsung LCD’s to accompany our Wyse S30 thin clients. The problem being their native resolution is some weird Native Resolution of 1360×768.
However as you know the thin client does not support the native resolution properly the text looks pretty poor in the RDP session we use.
I have loaded the newest firmware (Revision 590) on the device, and I’ve tried to max the video to 16MB in the BIOS.
Is there any way to either load a newer display driver/hack the registry to get the resolution available ?
Your replies greatly appreciated.
As you have found out yourself, the S30 is not capable of that resolution.
But as I know that the S10 is able to do it, this means that the S-class hardware supports it. Although this is a good news, you would have to contact Wyse to get this resolution implemented in CE as it would mean a driver and/or BIOS change.
