During a mix up of ordering Thin Clients, we received 5070 WES10 instead of our usual Wyse ThinOS. After a drawn conclusion between the vendor and us, they are not going to accept the return for these devices.
I’ve been doing some research and testing with the 5070 Windows Embedded but so far, I’m not impressed.
The biggest road block I have come across is trying to get Imprivata Single or Shared user agent working after it is installed. Imprivata is our 3rd party single sign on program that allows our users to use their badge id’s to badge in with a badge reader that we connect to our thin clients. Our ThinOS thin clients work pretty well with Imprivata if we stay on a lower firmware, 8.6_19. Anything above that is buggy but that is a different story.
I’m curious to know if anyone has had Imprivata working on their WES? After doing some searching, I haven’t came across a post about Imprivata and WES here and have not had much luck searching the Web.
