Have a 5040 PCoIP version, it will not install 8.6 via FTP. It checks the file and aborts the FTP download. It was on firmware v8.5_012 and since it wouldn’t load v8.6_013, I tried v8.5_024, and it did load that. That version also won’t load 8.6_013. Seems 8.6_013 is buggy or something. Even tried AutoLoad=1 to force it.
December 27, 2018 at 3:55 pm #48495You were able to find the PD10_wnos for PCoIP posted? When I download the “raw” (and only 8.6 file that I can see on Dell’s support page) there is only ZD10_wnos which I don’t think applies if your thin clients need the PCoIP version. I think Dell still needs to post the PD10_wnos 8.6… Have not had enough coffee yet so the above may be incorrect 🙂
December 27, 2018 at 3:58 pm #48496Disregard – clearly an issue with caffeine not kicking in :). There was a drop down for ThinOS and ThinOS with PCoIP… Downloading now and will updated with results.
December 27, 2018 at 4:02 pm #48497When I try to upload the image to WMS 1.3 (cloud) I get an error – “Uploaded image is not a valid TC image”
Looks like I need to contact Dell…
December 27, 2018 at 4:35 pm #48498Seeing the same here.
Looks like a faulty package on the Dell site.CG
December 27, 2018 at 4:36 pm #48499Just got off the phone with Dell and they can also reproduce the error. Have an open case with them about the issue…
December 27, 2018 at 7:07 pm #48500Thanks for the info all, keep us posted @tdimitrov if you don’t mind, would like to know when they correct it and re-post!
January 8, 2019 at 3:01 pm #48556Got a word from Dell that the fix “will be in place early next week”.
January 16, 2019 at 8:20 pm #48833The file is available for download but unfortunately when I try to upload it to WMS I once again get the same error message – “Uploaded image is not a valid TC image”…Emailed the contact assigned to the case…the saga continues…
January 17, 2019 at 10:31 am #48840Same is happening for 3040 PCoIP (PA10Q).
It looks like they reposted the old and not working ZIP file from December 2018 again!?Additional Note:
3030 LT with and without PCoIP were updating fine to 8.6_013!January 17, 2019 at 10:34 am #48841As Dell still seems to have issues with uploading the correct files, I have uploaded 8.6_013 to the Download section meanwhile.
Hope this helps.CG
January 17, 2019 at 3:10 pm #48872Thank you Thomas. I was able to upload the file you posted without issues to WMS. Appreciate all the help! Now to get some hands on with 8.6 :).
December 18, 2019 at 7:43 am #51440Hi Guys,
I’m stuck with AIO 5040, I have tried all images, always getting these type of messages;
NBP is too big to fit in free base memory.
File is too big.
Appreciate your help.

December 18, 2019 at 11:55 am #51455Hi Conf,
The 5040 using 8.2 ThinOS version and I managed to upgrade using your file.. Now almost all my 5040 AIO devices are able to get the file OS file and Bios file using WDM
C:\inetpub\ftproot\Rapport\WTOSCONFIG\WNOS
PD10_wnos
ZD10_wnos
I have only one of the 5040 which is getting the PXE stage, but I’m unable to get it the OS installed on it. My colleague has formatted and I don’t know how to bring it back up again.
Appreciate your help on this.
Regards,
