    Hi Thomas,

    any news on ThinOS / Dell 3040 and support for MS Teams optimization with Citrix 1912?

    Is there a possibility to get a test version?

    Teams optimization is currently only available for Windows based endpoints.
    As soon as Citrix releases a Linux version Dell can integrate this.

    We are running Citrix VDA 1906.1 and Citrix HDX 2.8.0.2235 on Windows 2019 servers, and use thin OS on Dell Wyse 3040 clients with Ubuntu HDX 2.8.0.2235 . Teams is working ok, but not with camera. Do you think Citrix will provide a solution soon?

    Yes, they are working on the Linux version already. I think it is already in beta, but not sure about that.

    Just tested Teams with ThinOS 9. Webcam still isn’t working :-(. Anyone else succes with this?

    Not working for me either. And speaker and mic comes up as HDX. Can’t select as you can in 8.6.

    Citrix released a brand new Workspace App for Linux. Even if this one Teams optimization is still limited to audio only. No webcam or screen sharing included.

    It has to do something on the Citrix server end. HDX. It’s also the same problem on Mac PCs . On windows clients it’s no problem.

    CWA 2006 for linux. A matter of time till Dell repackages that for ThinOs 9

    Correct.
    ThinOS 9.0 MR1 is coming in the next days and will include CWA 2004 (Teams Audio optimization).
    CWA 2006 is going to be released shortly after that.

    Teams is working audio/video together with CWA2006, but ThinOS 9.0.2108 did not work well with two monitors, so I had to downgrade to ThinOS 9.0.2081 which is working.

    The dualscreen issue will be fixed in the next release, planned for next month.

    Thanks for you information. I also have another issue. If I disconnect  a session, the session comes up in a window when I reconnect, and I dont know how to get full screen. My only solution is to log off and on.

    Hello dagks,

    how did you manage to get MS Teams working with Wyse 3040?

    Have are using:
    – Citrx 1912 LTSR CU1
    – MS Teams for VDI 1.3.00.13565
    – Dell Wyse 3040 (tried 9.0.2081 and 9.0.2108
    – Logitech Webcam C925e
    – Plantronics W8200B/A (Audio)

    Problem: USB-Mapping in Citrix Policies and Dell Wyse 3040 is enabled, but MS-Teams do not recognized it. On Windows PC with Citrix Workspace it works both without problems.

    Hello Jurgen,

     

    I think you must ugrade your delivery agent to Citrix Apps and Desktops 7 2006. And also install the Citrix_2006_1126.pkg on your Wyse 3040
